Registration
Your Login Name/Email Address
Your Login Name/Email Address In order to register for SeekingandFinding.com, you will need to provide your email address. This email address will be used as your login name for the duration of your membership on SeekingandFinding.com.
Verifying Your Email Address
In order for your registration to be complete, you will need to verify your email address. In order to do so, simply login to your email and click on “click to verify” in the email that we sent to you immediately following your registration. Doing so will take you to the login page, where you will be able to login and begin your profile creation process.

Forgot my password
Don’t let forgetting your password slow you down. Click on the Feedback link at the bottom of any page on the website.
We are more than happy to change your password for you. When we change your password, you will automatically receive your new password sent to your email account you entered when you registered with us — usually in just a matter of minutes during normal business hours.
Change My Password
You can easily change your password by clicking on “My Account” on the left navigation bar on your Personal Homepage. Then select “Change Password” and follow the instructions.

Conducting an effective People Search
To get the best results from your search. Think, "Less is more." Although we have comprehensive search criteria, keeping it simple will return a wider range of results and then you can start to narrow it down from there.

Managing Your Account
"My Account" link, available on your Personal Homepage, is designed to help you manage and provide information about your People Account and profile. Change any items needed and click “update” in the following sections:
- Membership Subscription
- Change Password
- Message Preferences
- Search Preferences
- Newsletters Subscriptions
Your Username
For security and privacy purposes, SeekingandFinding.com will not approve profiles containing Usernames that are the full name of the member. Therefore, please do not use your full name as your Username during your Profile creation. Although, a pseudo name is preferable, your first name or last name is acceptable. If using your first or last name, additional characters may be combined to make the Username the required six (6) or more characters.
Modifying My People Account Status
There are two ways to change the status of your People account. You can "unpublish" or "cancel". It is important to know that there is a critical difference between the selections.
Unpublish: When you unpublish your profile, it will not be able to be viewed by others. This removes you from the search listings until you are ready to become active again. To unpublish your profile, click on "My Profile" and select “unpublish”.
Cancel: If you "cancel" your account, your profile is deleted from the SeekingandFinding.com website
permanently, and cancels your membership.
Note: You may continue to receive the Newsletter and mailings unless you unsubscribe.
People Features
Message Center
In order to access your Message Center, click on "Messages" on the left navigation bar on your Personal Homepage. Here you can send and view your messages from other Members.
If your Message Center is empty, we invite you to publish your People profile so that you can send and receive messages. Here's how: From your Personal Homepage, simply click on “My Profile” in the left navigation bar.
Publish your profile
Publishing a Personal profile on SeekingandFinding.com is simple and easy. (See your Personal Homepage — "My Profile")
Adding photos to your profile
Choosing the right photos for your People profile can be tough, but a snapshot is just as appropriate as a professional portrait.
Once you have found the photos you will use, there are several ways to get them posted. If you don't have access to a scanner,
your local discount store or drug store usually has a machine that will scan them for you and make an electronic copy on disk.
Make sure the photos you use are in .jpg or .gif format.
Note: SeekingandFinding.com will not approve profiles with photos containing logos, other people or any inappropriate/controversial
content of any kind and reserves the right to format a photo in order to meet the guidelines above.
Submit your profile for approval
We’re going to remind everyone that it is necessary to "Publish/Pay" every time you create, edit or modify your profile information — even if you just add a photo. Since we notice that several of our members edit their profile and leave the profile as "unpublished," we’ll keep watching and reminding because we don’t want anyone to miss out!
Bookmarks & Blocking Members
Bookmarks let you know who is online, and provide you quick access to profiles or listings of your friends, family and business connections. Those who you have bookmarked will appear at the bottom of your Personal Homepage as well as an indication of whether or not they are online. In order to bookmark a member, select "Bookmark" under that member’s profile when it appears under "Search Results" or select "View Details" and click on "Bookmark".
In order to block a member, click "View Details" on their profile and then select "Block This Member".

What is Resources?
Resources is a growing collection of writings on spirituality for those seeking inspiration and spiritual teaching.
How are writings selected?
Authors, writings and quotations in Resources are selected by the staff of SeekingandFinding.com.
What will Resources include in the future?
Resources categories presently include “General Spirituality” and “Personal Growth”. Future Resources selections will also include information on relationships, ethics and spirituality in business, Bible resources, and other related links.
How do I add a writer to my Favorite Author?
SeekingandFinding.com members may use the “favorite” function when logged into their account.
